WEDDING & EVENT RECAP FEATURING THE BEST OF 2024 | LORETA DAKA FLORAL BOUTIQUE

Welcome! Another year down my friends and we are back at it again! 2024 was full of excitement with a lot of fun events. But I have to be honest, I slowed down quite a bit. This year in particular, I took a step back. I needed to clear my head. I did not take on as many weddings as I was burnt out from the two previous years ahead. Instead, I collected my thoughts and came up with new ways to grow my business! For starters, the studio got quite the makeover. I hired an electrician to install skylights and finally bit the bullet and bought the mother of all refrigerators! With that being said, I was back to doing deliveries again and it gave me such pride and joy to create not only for my brides and grooms but for new customers in my local area too. I honed in on my garden and gave it a lot of attention and the TLC it needed. I can't wait for my 2025 brides to see the different types of product I've curated. I took on a couple styling shoots which was another focus of mine and I thoroughly enjoyed working with new flowers and donating my time. I was most excited to work on two different styling shoots featuring the 2024 Pantone Color of the Year: Peach Fuzz and I have to say all of the arrangements for both shoots came out flawless. I was overdue for a branding session, so I hired my friend Shaina Diaz to take some updated pictures for my website. We had such a blast and I can't wait to see what Shaina Lee Photography and I come up with next! Aside from styling shoots and reflecting on this past year, I did a lot of web maintenance. As you may have noticed, my website needed a little bit of TLC. With that being said, I was MIA on social media and fell of the Instagram bandwagon for a bit! But after much thought and consideration, I plan on putting a lot of time and energy into my social media accounts and I can't wait for you all to see what's in store for the coming year! Last but not least, this year produced some of my favorite arrangements of all time and we started off wedding season very early on. Taking on less weddings gave me the opportunity to really focus on my couples as I am exclusively theirs for their special day. I've always said 'less is more' and that was so true given the amount of events I took on this year. I loved working with each and everyone of my couples and they had such unique and intricate visions for their weddings days. Thank you all for the endless love and support that you have shown Loreta Daka Floral Boutique over the past year. It really was a year to remember!
