THE POINT AT NORWALK COVE WEDDING IN NORWALK, CT | DEANNA & RYAN

I was first introduced to Deanna - Instagram: @deannaelizabethmua by Sandra Szebenyik @ Alexandra Szebenyik Photography - Instagram: @the.sandraeffect during a styling shoot! Deanna was the makeup artist on set. She was sweet and kind and I really enjoyed working with her! What felt like a short while later, came a surprise DM in my inbox from Deanna asking me to create her wedding day florals. I was honored and couldn't wait to get started! By far, Deanna had one of the B E S T cool blue color palettes of the year! And, guess who captured the magic? Jennifer Nichole Photography - Instagram: @jennifernicholdphotograhy {who was an absolute pleasure to work with!} You won't want to miss a single detail and the stunning bride and photography too. Check it out!

THE LOVE STORY

"Ryan and I met on Bumble (my first night there we matched). After talking on the phone for hours every day for a week, Ryan told me that he wanted to take me to dinner at his favorite restaurant which just so happens to be mine. Our first date was comfortable and it felt like we had known each other forever. When I got home from our first date, I remember calling my best friend and telling her, "I don't think I really believe in love at first sight but there is something different about him." Over the last five years, we've been through so much with our families, health, home, and two dogs. Ryan is truly my best friend and other half. He pushed me to take a leap of faith of starting my own business and has believed in me every step of the way. Seven years ago, when I got sick, I remember being afraid that I would never find someone who would want to deal with my health issues and everything that came along with it. Ryan has never been anything but supportive and encouraging and he does everything he can." -Deanna, Bride

THE PROPOSAL STORY

"Ryan and I fell in love on the beach in Milford where his parents have a beach house. We spend our summers there and once we got dogs it became their favorite place as well. We always would do early morning or sunset walks at low tide on the beach with them. In December, we decided on a Friday night to take the dogs for a walk on the beach in the morning before our day got busy. Little did I know, Ryan had been planning this "walk" for a long time. We woke up super early, drove to the beach, and had the most stunningly beautiful pink and purple sunrise. It was low tide and the sand bar far out. There wasn't another soul on the beach, and it was the most peaceful morning. We started to walk and were talking, and I was so busy taking photos of the sunrise that I didn't notice Ryan had stopped walking. When I heard him say, "I know this time has been a long time coming . . ." I turned around and he was down on one knee proposing. I have no idea what he said after that because I was so taken aback but it was perfect. Just us, in our favorite place, with our two girls running around us. Ryan's cousin is a photographer and was hiding down the beach taking photos of it all. They're the best memories I have. There's been very few times in my life I was speechless, but that entire day I just didn't have the words for how happy I was. Getting to spend the rest of my life with my best friend was the best pre-Christmas present I could've asked for!" - Deanna, Bride
