FIRST YEAR ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION AT THE GREENWICH COUNTRY CLUB | LAURA & ROBERT


COVID-19 newlyweds who pared down their guests lists and exchanged vows over Zoom calls are planning full-on second weddings. I've asked myself, what do you call this type of event? A vow renewal? An anniversary? An I-do Re-do? A sequel? After calling off plans for a big wedding, once due to the pandemic and another due to a family illness, Laura and Robert rushed to plan a small intimate ceremony in South Carolina with their close immediate family.


A year later, they opted for a 250-person reception at their original venue, the Greenwich Country Club, where they said, "I do" in front of their family and friends for "Part Two." One day, I hope they tell their children how they got married in a pandemic and married each other twice! Happy Anniversary Laura and Robert! Getting to do it all over again is like hitting the lottery or rolling the dice.
