September 30, 2023 FALL WEDDING AT THE LACE FACTORY IN DEEP RIVER, CT | MEREDITH & AARON
It's a maple leaf marriage!
Fall weddings are awesome for so many reasons. Just think about all the colors, elements, and the decor inspiration! When you have an autumn wedding, all that you need can be found around you. Think pumpkins, haystacks, and last but not least LEAVES! Rich orange, yellow, or red leaves are a unique way to express any autumn theme because they are versatile. It's easy to pull off the perfect seasonal feel with the expertly executed addition of this little accessory (especially paired with fall flora).
These leaves can go anywhere, including the bouquet which will look bold and vibrant! I've seen autumn leaves on table displays, scattered around dinner plates, and even incorporated into table decorations but I've never seen them quite like this. Check out Meredith and Aaron's wedding with some gorgeous earthy elements, maple leaves, and lot's of wedded bliss!
THE LOVE STORY
Aaron and Meredith attended UConn law together from 2013- 2016. They were friendly at school but not close friends. However, after graduation, Aaron moved in with this friend Joe, who happened to be dating Meredith's friend Alex. Meredith and Aaron started spending more time together and eventually Alex demanded that they date! Meredith and Aaron went on their first date in 2019 and have been together ever since. Alex is incredibly proud of her match making skills and she and her now husband, Joe, are both in their wedding party!
THE PROPOSAL STORY
"Memorial Day weekend of 2022, Aaron suggested we go hiking at Mount Tom in Washington, CT. I had grown up going to Mount Tom every fall with my family and I had taken Aaron there a few times before. We climbed up to the tower and when we got up there Aaron proposed."
- Meredith, Bride
