CHRISTIAN NUPTIALS AT WHITBY CASTLE IN RYE, NY | SARAH & GLENN

I BAWLED MY EYES OUT ON THIS ONE FOLKS. I was working outside on the arch when I received a phone call regarding a family emergency. Given the person I am, I paused. Took a deep breath and kept going, focusing my eyes on the cross ✝️ For those of you who don't know me, I am a Christian florist. I'm not one to profess my faith online but this wedding was very special to me for that reason. Sarah and Glenn are the true definition of a 1 Corinthians: 13 4-5 couple. Not only are they Christian but their marriage was a true testimony of faith 🩷 Their nuptials were a sight to see and Sarah's vision for the arch was even more incredible. She wanted to say her vows under a cross; an arch that I've never created before and I was honored to do so. The cross arch was constructed on a grassy area outside of the castle, which was fitting given it's placement on the grounds. It was a true representation of Jesus' sacrifice representing God's Glory and the love for His Kingdom. It felt so peaceful looking at the cross; listening to the birds singing while they said their vows. There wasn't a dry eye outside (including mine) and I soaked it all in just before running back to the hustle of indoor wedding prep. Flowering the cross on this particular day gave me such peace. Peace during and after the phone call I received and peace for this beautiful couple getting married. I'm usually steadfast in prayer before an event and I never go into a wedding week without it. I know that God was there with me, as He was listening to my prayers for my family member in need and for this gorgeous couple about to embark on this journey 🩷 Congratulations Sarah and Glenn! May God Bless you immensely!
